Tokidoki loves Japan, so do I
¿No os parece que hay una tendencia de fascinación hacia todo lo japonés desde hace algún tiempo? y tiene la apariencia de que va a continuar creciendo, cada vez más fuerte. A mi, desde luego, todo lo que tiene que ver con Japón simplemente me fascina.Algo parecido a lo que el artista italiano afincado en Los Angeles Simone Legno siente por Japón.
A raíz de esto creo la página TOKIDOKI que significa “a veces” en japonés, para mostrar sus ilustraciones y que acabó transformándose en una línea de ropa y accesorios.
Tokidoki es una mirada caprichosa a la cultura japonesa, tierna y divertida al mismo tiempo que sexy y sofisticada.
Empezó como un proyecto de fabricación y distribución de camisetas para chico y chica con mucho éxito y ahora la marca cuenta con una amplia gama de productos decorados con la imaginería ‘Tokidoki’, ropa interior, joyeria, cinturones, relojes, iPods, bolsos de LeSportsac…
Don’t you think that there has been a trend of fascination towards everything Japanese for some time now? And that it seems it will continue growing.. To my, certainly, everything that has something to do with Japan, simply fascinates me.
Something similar to what the Los Angeles based Italian artist Simone Legno feels for Japan.
Because of this fascination he created TOKIDOKI website (which means “sometimes” in Japanese), to show his illustration portfolio and it ended up turning into a line of clothes and accessories.
Tokidoki is a whimsical look at Japanese culture, cute and playful and at the same time sexy and sophisticated.
It began as a project of printing and distribution of tee-shirts for men and women with a great success and now the brand sells a wide range of products decorated with the “Tokidoki” imagery, interior clothes, jewelry, belts, watches, iPods, LeSportsac’s bags…
