Until Dawn es una cortina diseñada por Tord Boontje, esta hecha de Tyvek, un material de papel sintético muy fuerte. Se puede colgar de un clave con las cintas que tiene arriba y simplemente, recortar lo que sobre con unas tijeras hasta alcanzar la longitud deseada. ¡Se acabó el coser!

También es suyo el diseño de esta lámpara Midsummer Light , la pantalla esta hecha de dos capas recortadas de Tyvek y dentro tiene un un cono de mylar para mantener la pantalla lejos de la bombilla.

Until Dawn is a curtain design by Tord Boontje, It is made from Tyvek, a very strong synthetic paper material. The curtain can be hung with the double sided tape endings on the top over a wire. With scissors you can cut it to the desired length. No more sewing!

He has also designed the Midsummer Light , the lampshade is made of two layers of cut Tyvek and has a Mylar cone inside that keeps it away from the light bulb.

Tengo una amiga que se acaba de comprar un piso, pequeñito , muy pequeñito, a quien le vendrías fenomenal esta cocina compacta Grandma’s Revenge (la venganza de la abuela), de las alemanas Melanie Olle y Ilja Oelschlägel pero por ahora es solo un concepto.
Juega con la idea de convertir un dibujo en un espacio tridimensional

This compact kitchen would really come in hand to a friend of mine who just bought a small flat, a very small flat…, Grandma’s Revenge, design by Melanie Olle y Ilja Oelschlägel from Germany but it is only a concept design by now
It plays with the idea of turning a drawing into a three-dimensional space.

A company in Japan called Design Barcode creates this amusing barcodes, they use the barcodes to design any kind of figures, they are as functional as traditional barcodes and they add a point of creativity to the packaging .
For this idea they have won the titanium lion at Cannes 2006 

Una compañía japonesa llamada Design Barcode crea estos códigos de barra, utilizándolos de base para crear todo tipo de figuras, funcionan igual de bien que los tradicionales y añaden un punto de creatividad a los envases.
Además por esta idea han conseguido el leon de titanio en Cannes 2006.

Se han entregado los premios a la excelencia en el diseño industrial 2006. IDEA
Me han gustado especialmente estos tres:
